You can sell 500 cars a month, but if you’re not keeping all that money, it’s a rough way to go.
The dealer has millions and million of dollars tied up in the dealership’s land, building, inventory, and blue sky.
It’s capital intensive and the dealer has so much exposure!
What I do through compliance, through risk mitigation, and through dispute resolution, is to install policies and procedures to mitigate the risk. And when possible, we will lay off the risk to a third party insurance company or establish some kinds of policies that ensures if a problem happens, the dealer is not on the hook for the issue.
